On Wednesday, December 21st, we welcome the Winter Solstice, the portal to the winter season.
As we enter this season, our intuition becomes heightened, our soul craves introspection, and it is a time for nurturing the seeds of our deepest, most heart-felt dreams, visions, and desires.
When we take time to honor and celebrate this season change, we find ourselves moving with the rhythm of this season with more ease and grace.
In this week's episode of the Priestess Pathway Podcast, I share 4 Rituals for Celebrating the Winter Solstice. Listen in and discover how you can celebrate this sacred day!

Peru is a magical place filled with deep wisdom and powerful insights . . . and amazing jewels! My recent journey to the Sacred Valley was filled with experiences that brought forward a deeper understanding of how to move through this time of great transition.
Right now many of us are feeling like life as we have known it has, in some way, turned upside down . . . especially in the political arenas. But these big upsets are also playing out in our day to day lives. We are experiencing unexpected and sudden changes in our relationships, in our jobs, in our home life and so much more. And, at the same time many of us are feeling like in the midst of the chaos, something big is on the horizon . . . and that something feels really good!.
Part of this turning over is due to this past year of completion and letting go and another part is preparing us to become crystal clear about what me most desire in our lives and for the world. This is a time of incredible opportunity.
While in Peru, the consistent messages that came forward were about surrender (letting go of any part of self, any vision or dream, any relationship, or any work path that does not serve our highest good), redefining power and embracing our personal power, discovering the sweetness of life (what makes our heart sing and bringing that into all areas of life), and lifting the veils of visibility (discovering where we are hiding ourselves and then lifting the veils to reveal our most authentic self).
Listen in to discover the jewels that have shown up as allies for this time and how you can bring some Peru magic into these final weeks of 2016!

"Everything that has a beginning has an ending. Make your peace with that and all will be well." - Buddha
Happy New Moon, my sacred friends!
This is a potent day of new beginnings, as all new moons are. The energy of this new moon is amplified by our move into the month of September and a solar eclipse. With all of this action in the sky it is a powerful time for us to begin anew and take a leap of faith saying yes to the deep heart-felt desires within.
New beginnings can be very exciting, and while the fresh start is something we desire they can be something we fear and have a lot of resistance around. A new beginning means letting go of an old way of being. Letting go of an old or unhealthy relationship. Closing the doors on a part of our life that we may have greatly enjoyed but recognize no longer serves our highest good. I'm sure you can see this is where our fears come into play . . . where our resistance pops up and interferes with our willingness to really say yes to the new beginning we desire.
In this week's episode we dive into this topic and I share with you four steps for creating powerful new beginnings. Listen in and leap fearlessly!
Wishing you a beautiful week!

I just returned from a couple days in California where I took a creative deep dive into the development of some upcoming projects and also built in some rejuvenating time in nature (lots of hikes, and even camping, in the redwoods).
This was the exact pause I needed.
Giving ourselves permission to pause seems so obvious, like something we would just naturally do, yet all too often we push ourselves to a point of complete overwhelm or exhaustion. For much of my life, this is what I would do. I would push, push, push with my work, with my social time, and in many other areas of my life. And despite feeling like I needed a break, I would push through and then my creative flow would stop and my passion for my work with get lost.
I see this happen with so many women, and this feeling of overwhelm and exhaustion is one that I've been hearing from so many of my friends recently. They are in desperate need of a pause, yet they are caught in one of many loops of shaming, punishing, or judging what they are feeling and in turn withholding the only path to re-activating their creative flow and passion for life and work.
Tune in and give yourself permission to pause and rejuvenate.

Welcome the summer solstice with a guided meditation to connect with both the full moon and full sun that we experience on this summer solstice day.

Happy summer solstice, my sacred friend!
This summer solstice is met with a full moon. It's a powerful mergence of both the masculine (sun) and feminine (moon) energy in their divine wholeness. As we experience this energy coming together we will likely feel called to a new level of authenticity . . . the brilliant sun and full moon will illuminate where we are not in alignment with our highest self so that we can let go of what we need to let go of and powerfully stand in our truth.
Tune and discover three practices you can do to enrich your summer solstice experience.

Oooh . . . it is full moon tonight!
The full moon is a time when the light of the moon illuminates what has been hanging out in our shadow so that we can surrender or shed the shadow beliefs and patterns that are holding us back from expanding into our wholeness. For that reason, this is one of my favorite times to make such energetic shifts through ceremony and sacred practice.
One of my FAVORITE full moon practices is to place all of my crystals outside, on the earth, in the moonlight.
Our crystals (in particular the ones we most frequently work with) are wonderful mirrors for us . . . and when we become stuck in a rut or need to shake things up in our lives, our crystals are a perfect place to begin. Getting our crystals outside, on the earth, in the moonlight is just like opening our windows on a warm spring day . . . everything feels refreshed.
When you do this, it is also wonderful to spend a little time with your jewels just tuning into the moon’s energy, the crystal’s energy, the earth’s energy and the wisdom they have to share. I find that when all of my jewels are laid out together it feels as though they are having a little party and with that celebration opening space for a powerful shift in consciousness.
Listen in and discover how you can do this sacred practice tonight!

Yes, I know, from every logical perspective this probably sounds ridiculous, but it is true: I went to shaman school because I wanted to be an artist.
Sometimes the path we take to get where we want to be is not always the obvious path and I'm sure you have also come to know (and experience) that intuitive guidance is not always logical.
But when we say yes, following our guidance and taking the illogical step we often discover ourselves to be walking our perfect path. For me, the path of shamanism opened to me a whole new way of working with the crystals and stones to create healing and transformation. It guided me to unleash my unique creative processes and techniques. Listen in and learn more . . .

A really beautiful conversation opened up on my facebook page recently. I shared a picture from a visit to the shores of Lake Michigan and one of the ladies in our community shared how such a place is 'simultaneously heaven and hell to a rockhound like myself with a (self-imposed) one-rock-comes-home limit'.
This is something I can completely relate to, but I was not always like that. I (and my family) have stories about coming home with pails full of rocks. Yes, I love rocks and I LOVE to collect them. No one ever really said it was a problem, but one day the crystals let me know that I was a bit of a crystal hoarder and it is time to let them go. Since then my relationship with crystals has definitely changed and I feel so much more discerning about my perfect crystal allies.
Listen in and discover 4 great reasons why it's just as amazing to leave the crystals in their natural home as it is to bring them into your home.
